Complete Refurbishment of top floor balcony

The client had a problem with a previous installation of balcony, the poor installation eventually caused tiles to crack and water to penetrate the substructure and leaking in to the bedroom underneath.

Before work could begun we arranged scaffold and appropriate license with the local council

  • total gutting of existing tiles and substructure as it was completely rotten

  • repair to underlying celling and new installation of OSB board

  • laying of GRP (fibreglass) across entire balcony to form a stable waterproof barrier

  • installation of composite decking on top of composite frame work

  • fitting of IP67 water proof decking lights
