Once you accept us for your project we require just 10% of the project value to commence works. This covers our initial expenses of skips, scaffolding, temporary hoarding/security and outlay for initial materials, usually items such as bricks, timber, cement. For larger projects we can try to flexible however from our experience the 10% amount is usually a mutually acceptable amount for both parties.

Once we start work we will aim to plan our payment stages to naturally coincide with the various sign off stages in the building regs plan, this is to ensure that you have peace of mind that the work you are paying for is up to standard and passes inspection. It also allows us to address any issues at an early stage before corrections become costly, however due to our experience this is rarely an issue.

Ensuring all our work meets building regs standards is a necessity, its primary purpose to ensure the work is done to a structurally safe standard and to ensure all electrical aspects are completed to a safe level. Building regs however, does not concern itself with the quality of finish or superficial elements of the project, for us we take great pride in providing a superb level of finish on all work to go beyond our clients expectations.

We are proud to offer a 10 yr structural guarantee on our work, this covers you for structural features such as structural wall removal, foundations, Extension structures, Loft structures and roofing. However, any potential issues will nearly always be identified and rectified at the Building reg approval stage and we work with experienced structural engineers that very rarely make mistakes.

You can rest assured that we have public liability insurance cover of up to £5m to cover any potential mishaps during the build, on very large projects we can increase our insured value should it be required but we find that £5m is usually more than enough to give everybody peace of mind.

For all our internal refurbishment work we offer a 12month guarantee which covers things like kitchen and bathroom installations, flooring, electrical fittings, plumbing and decorative finishes.
